MRS. LUCY WEBER

Dorchester, Iowa - Mrs. Lucy Weber, 89, Dorchester, died Friday, Feb. 3, in Caledonia, Minn., Community Hospital. She had been a resident of the Caledonia Health Care Center since May 1977.

She was born April 28, 1888 at Dorchester to Henry and Sophia (Meiners) Paus. She married Henry Weber on Feb. 19, 1908, at Eitzen, Minn. They farmed in the Dorchester and Eitzen areas.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Mildred) Freuchte of Swanville, Minn., and Mrs. Robert (Mabel) Schroeder of Dorchester; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Paus of New Albin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1951; and by two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, Eitzen, with the Rev. Lloyd Fried officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Potter-Haugan Funeral Home, Caledonia, this afternoon and evening, and at the church Monday from 1 p.m. until the services.
