WAUKON, Ia. - (Special) - Minnie Weber, 81, for many years a major in the Salvation Army in Chicago, died Wednesday in a Waukon nursing home.

She is survived by two half-brothers, Louis and Henry Weber of Dorchester. Another half-brother, William Weber, died in November at Eitzen, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Friday at Martin's Funeral home. Burial will be in Chicago.

DEATH OF MINNIE WEBER
Miss Minnie Weber, 81, a resident of Union City township, died last Wednesday at the Mrs. Henry Waterman nursing home in West Waukon, where she had been a patient for several weeks.

She was born in the Weber homestead near the Allamakee-Houston county line Aug. 14, 1867, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Weber. There she spent the greater part of her life. For some years she was a resident of Chicago. She is survived by two brothers, Herman and Louis Weber, of near Eitzen, Minn. A brother William, who resided on the home farm, died about three weeks ago.

The remains reposed at Martin Bros. Funeral home until Friday afternoon when services were conducted. Burial was made in a Chicago cemetery.
