Lansing, Ia. - (Special) - Funeral services for Herman Weber, 39, were held at Immaculate Conception church Monday morning, the Rev. G. L. Haxmeier officiating. Mr. Weber died suddenly Friday from a heart ailment. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weber, he was born in Lansing township Jan. 6, 1898. He attended the May's Prairie school and remained at home until his marriage to Pearl Hurley on Nov. 14, 1928. He and Mrs. Weber bought the former Faegre farm in Center township where he lived until his death. He is survived by his wife, four children, Harold, Joseph, Mary Alice and Donald; one sister, Mrs. James Thorstem; three brothers, William, John and Christian, all of Lansing. His parents and one sister Agnes preceded him in death, as did an infant son. A delegation from the Knights of Columbus attended the funeral. He was a member of the Waukon court. Burial was in Gethsemane.
