Services For Frank Miller

Funeral services for Frank C. Miller, 75, rural Waukon, were held from the Forest Mills United Methodist church, rural Postville, Monday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.

He died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1982 at his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1906 in Allamakee county, the son of Frank D. and Maude Livingood Miller, and was a farmer. He and Eunice Klocke were married March 30, 1927 in West Union. She survives, as do their sons, Duane of Postville and George of Ely and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Eleanor and Shirley, are deceased.

Also surviving are a brother, Leonard, and a sister, Mrs. Abbie Westerholm, both of Waukon. A sister Cynthia preceded him in death.

Mr. Miller attended local schools, and was a member of the Forest Mills church. The Rev. Curtis Webster officiated at services and at the burial in Oakland cemetery, Waukon.

Submitter notes: Daughter Eleanor Lee Miller was born and died June 9, 1931. Daughter Shirley Ann Miller was born Sept. 30, 1938 and died in 1940. Both are buried in Waukon's Oakland Cemetery. His sister Cynthia was Mrs. George A. Ludeking and died Sept. 16, 1963.
