Joseph Thomas Sires, Sr. passed away November 25, 1936, at his home in Spangle, Washington. He was a retired farmer.

Husband of Matilda (Grunewald) at the home; father of Joseph Thomas Sires, Jr. of New York; Harry Sires of Plaza, Washington; and Howard Sires at the home; brother of Mrs. L.J. (Anna Sires) Gleason of Spokane, Washington; and grandfather of two grandchildren.

He had resided in this district for 53 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home.
