Mrs Bertha Schneider

Mrs.Bertha Schneider,93,a resident of Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill at 12:45 p.m Sunday in the nursing home.

Funeral sevices will be held at 11 a.m.in St.Stephen`s United Church of Christ,Merrill. The Rev.Dale Kuck will officiate and burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park.Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home in Merrill after 3 p.m,Tuesday and at the church from 8;30 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service.

The former Bertha Sophia Schroeder was born November 25,1878 in Postville,Iowa,daughter of Mr, and Mrs,Carl Schroeder.She was married March 15,1899,in Luana,Iowa to Carl P. Schneider. He died June 28,1941.Mrs.Schneider had lived in Merrill since 1911.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs.Sam Close,200 Lake St.,Merrill:two sons,Quinten,Town of Pine River and the Rev.Virgil Schneider,Jamestown,ND:three grand children and two great grandchildren.
