Mrs. Standorf Laid To Rest

Mrs. Carlotta Standorf passed away in her home on Sat., Jan. 28th after a long illness. She was born July 1, 1912, the daughter of Albert and Marie Moen. She was married to Harvey Standorf in Waukon, where they lived on a farm for some years. They came to Giard in 1951. Harvey died Nov. 9, 1975.

Mrs. Standorf was a faithful member of Giard United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Surviving her are Mrs. Don (Shirley) Johanningmeier and Mrs. Stanley (Sandra) Loper of McGregor; Harlan and Allen, both of Eldora; and Ronald of Dubuque. Also surviving besides her children are her mother, Mrs. Marie Moen of Waukon; three brothers: Rudolph of Waukon, Amos and Ralph of Rock Island, Ill.; three sisters: Mrs. Leonard (Thelma) Larson and Mrs. Lyle (Erma) Williams, both of Waukon, and Mrs. Paul (Arla) Coon of Cincinnati, Ohio; 12 grandchildren & one great-grandchild.
