Eugene B. Waters

Eugene B. Waters, 78, died March 3, 2004 at the Strawberry Point CCDI Unit of Lewy Body Illness. Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church by Father Jack Paisley in Strawberry Point on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Burial was in the Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point. Roberson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Eugene Waters was born on May 20, 1925 in Postville, Iowa to Bernard and Edna (Hein) Waters. Eugene was a farmer, car salesman, and was in the antique business.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine; sons, Daryl (Kathy Bannon) of Evansdale and David of Cedar Rapids; daughter Julee (Terry) Miller of Reinbeck, children of Eugene and Delores (Hagen). Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one sister, Neva Jaster of Ossian, a niece Bonnie (Dale) Pape of West Union, nephew Jack (Karen) Jaster of Ossian.

He was preceeded in death by his brother-in-law, John Jaster, and his parents, Bernard and Edna Waters.
