Mrs. WILLIAM (Hazel Kelleher) Zoll WHALEN, died 1973

Mrs. William (Hazel) Whalen

WAUKON, Ia. --- Mrs. William (Hazel) Whalen, 81, of Waukon died Thursday morning at her home.

Services will be at 10:30 Saturday in St. Patrick's Catholic church here, with burial in St. Patrick's Catholic church at Hanover, Iowa. Friends may call at the Bakke-Hanson Funeral Home here, where the Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Mark (Mary) Mauss and Mrs. Walter (Myrtle) Larson, both of Waukon, two sons, Vivian Zoll of Waukon and James Zoll of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; four stepdaughters, Julia Whalen, Mrs. Robert (Anna Mae) Curtin, and Mrs. Dorothy Davis, all of Waukon, and Mrs. William (Delores) McDowell of Cedar Rapids; three stepsons, Emmett Whalen of Austin, Minn., and James Whalen of Cumberland, Wis.; 50 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Norman [the rest is tore off].

Submitter notes: Hazel's first husband was Joseph Zoll. Hazel's maiden name was Kelleher. Cross-referencing under her daughter's name, Mrs. Mark (Mary Zoll) Mauss, will give this information.
