Charles A. Stewart Dies at New Albin
New Albin – Services for Charles A. Stewart, 71, of New Albin, well-known Ornithologists, will be held Monday afternoon at Burke funeral home in Lansing. Mr. Stewart died Friday. Born at Philadelphia, he was a graduated of the University of Pennsylvania. For several years he was associated with the Bureau of Animal Industry at Omaha and later became superintendent of the Cudahy packing plant in that city. He held that post until he retired in 1941 at bought an acreage near New Albin. His wife survives.
