Funeral services were held at the Martin Bros. funeral parlors, Waukon, Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Mary Kesselburg, 81, of Waukon Junction, whose death occurred at the Lutheran hospital in La Crosse Saturday morning. Services were conducted by Rev. A. H. Grossheim of the Presbyterian Chrch and burial was made in Oakland cemetery by the side of her husband, Jake Kesselburg, who passed away several years ago.
Deceased was born as Mary Hastingw, Jan. 8, 1869, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hastings. After her marriage March 6, 1888, to Jake Kesselburg she has since resided at Waukon Junction. She is survived by a son Harold at home and two daughters, Mrs. Laura Sweatt of Monona and Mrs. Thelma Sherbonda of Davenport; also two sisters, Mrs. Ben Kellison of Waukon and Mrs. Maude King of Seattle, Wash.; five brothers, Dr. Elmer W., John, Albert, Lute and Roy Hastings all of Waukon.
