Rites Wednesday for Mrs. Albert Oelberg
Waukon – Mrs. Albert Oelberg, 68, died Saturday while helping her husband in the barn on their farm in Franklin township. Death was due to a heart attack.
The former Emma Leppert, she was married to Mr. Oelberg on Feb. 28, 1917, and they have since lived on the Franklin township farm.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Norman Amundson and Mrs. Donald Enyart, both of rural Postville, and Mrs. Eugene Vance of Viroqua, Was; five sons, Charles, Anamosa, George, Washington, D.C.; Harva, Lansing, Dr. Christian Oelberg, Elma, and Kermit, in the air force in North Carolina; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Swenson, Waukon, and six brothers, James Leppert, Waukon; Ralph, Monoma; Dewey, Lansing, Oscar, Dickey, N. D.; Willard, Seattle and Gilbert, Edgeley, N. D.
Services: Wednesday at 2 p.m. First Presbyterian church. The body is at the Martin funeral home.
