Funeral services were conducted Monday,December 31, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church,Postville for Mrs. William (Emma) Willman who died at the Good Samaritan Center,Postville, Friday December 29. The Rev.Norman Ullestad officiated.
Emma M. Oldag Willman, the daughter of George Oldag and Augusta Foels, was born July 29,1880 in Clayton County,Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church,Postville.
On September 28,1898 she was married to William Willman of Postville and to this union four children were born.
After their marriage they farmed in the Postville area until 34 years when they moved to town. for the past four years she has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center.
Mrs. Willman was preceded in death by her husband in 1972: her parents; two brothers,Otto and Henry; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Mylinda) Schultz and Mrs. John (Amanda) Schroeder and two grandchildren.
Surviving are her four children,Mrs. Ervin(Bertha) Dickman, Mrs. Victor (Emma)Meyer, Paul and Mrs. Eldo (Verla) Schutte. There nine grandchildren,24 great grandchildren,15 great great grandchildren; a sister Mrs.Lenora Shipton of Clermont and brother Ed Oldag of Postville.
