Connie Hogan, age 91, died Saturday, August 17, 2002, at Thorton Manor in Lansing. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 20, 2002, at St. Ann's/St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Trzil officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Paint Rock Cemetery. Hanson Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
Connie Brannan was born September 30, 1910, in Harpers Ferry to John and Anna (Healy) Brannan. On February 8, 1941, she married John Hogan at St. Ann's/St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The couple resided in Harpers Ferry. Connie worked as a teacher, postal clerk, store clerk, and homemaker during her life.
She is survived by two sons, Bob (Betty) Hogan and Joe Hogan and his special friend Melon Horns; one daughter, Sheila (Tom) Diggins; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Bonnie Brannan, Mary Severson, Joan Mullarkie *, and Joseph Brannon. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Honorary pall bearers were Molly, Katie, Brady, and Brannon Hogan; and Kelly and Erica Diggins. Pall bearers were Ryan, Jeremy, Patrick, Tom, and Terry Hogan; John Brannan; and Jim Martelle.©Waukon Standard 2002

Linus' family is deeply rooted in the Harpers Ferry, Wexford and Lansing area. In Connie's obit they have Joan Mullarkie it should be Mullarkey - from Betty
