Eleanor Mae Crowley, 76, of New Albin, died Wednes­day, Sept. 24, 1986 in the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon.

She was born March 24, 1910 in Union City Township, Dorchester, to James G. and Sarah (Hahn) Sires. She mar­ried Joseph Crowley on Feb. 8, 1932 in Winona, Minn. He died July 13, 1981. She retired in 1975 from the Lansing Co., where she was employed for 32 years. She was a member of the Grace Methodist Church, New Albin, the Order of the Eastern Star of Lan­sing, and the United Methodist Women's Group, New Albin.

Survivors ore three brothers, Raymond "Tat" Sires, Forrest "Frosty" Sires and Cleon Sires, all of New Albin; and a sister, Ruby Middendorf, of New Albin. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death hy two brothers and a sister.

Services were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Methodist Church, Rev. Thomas Mattson officiating. Burial was in the English Bench Cemetery at Dorchester. The Haugen-Roble funeral home of Caledonia was in charge of arrangements.

Casket bearers were Joel Sires, Douglas Sires, Robert Grahlman, Lynn Sires, James Sires and Earl Crowley.
