Dorothy Visger

Dorothy M. Visger, 88, died peacefully Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Funeral services were held Monday, August 21, at Grace United Methodist Church, New Albin. Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home of Forest Lake, Minn., was in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy was born in Minneapolis, Minn., but spent most of her life in New Albin. She later moved closer to her daughter, residing in both Cambridge and Forest Lake. Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano and volunteering in her church, fishing with her husband on the Mississippi River, and playing bridge with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; a son, Dennis; and many other family members. She is survived by her daughter, Linda of Cedar, Minn.; nephews Kenny (Terr) Visger, Gary Paul and daughter Rachel; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
