Rites to be held June 26 for Clarence Leppert
Clarance Herman Leppert was born to Phillip Leppert and Tara Wiehe, Sept. 3, 1888 in the family home in French Creek township; where he lived all of his life engaged in farming.
His parents, three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death, also a dearly loved little son Roger and granddaughter Andrea Beyer. He loved his family very much.
He was in failing health the last years, but was tenderly cared for by his family.
He was a 50 year Masonic member and member of the United Methodist Church in Lansing.
He was married to the former Clara Siebmeier June 12, 1929 in the parental home. She survives to mourn his death; also two sons; Howard and Robert of Lansing, and a daughter Ruth, Mrs. Adners Beyer of Houston, Texas. Grandchildren are Jeffrey, Gregory, Natalie, Josey, Lesa, Audrey, and Andy Leppert, Kevin Christopher and Jason Beyer of Houston, Texas.
Services will be held in the Lansing United Methodist Church Thursday afternoon at two o'clock.
A wake will he held Wednesday after 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. The pallbearers will be Donald Leppert, Kenneth Leppert, Curtis Gramlich, Burton Feuerhelm, Lawrence Weber, and Clavin Shindall.
