Mrs. Walter Muchow, 40,Passes on in Milwaukee

Funeral services were held at the Schutte Funeral Home in this city Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Walter Muchow,aged 40 years, who passed away at the family home in Milwaukee,Wis..,Thursday,following several months illness. The Rev. Frederick R. Ludwig,pastor of St. Paul`s Lutheran Church,officiated and interment was in Postville cemetery.

Mrs. Muchow was born Caroline Anna Augusta Sander, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Sander,in Post township on May 25,1904 and grew to womanhood in this community.

She was united in marriage with Walter Muchow of Postville on June 28,1924, and to this union four children were born.

Mrs. Muchow spent her childhood and young womanhood in this community.She later lived four years at Kenosha,Wis.,six years in Chicago,Ill,. and excepting for times she lived in Milwaukee,her home had been in Postville.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, the four children,Robert,Keith,Dale and Lee; five brothers, George Sander of Luana,Otto,Carl,Walter,and Eldo of Postville; three sisters,Emma,Mrs John Diedrichs of Lime Springs,Mahala,Mrs. Louis Meyer of Luana and Esther, Mrs Albert Foels of Postville,as well as other relatives and friends.
