Death of Young Wife

Louisa Schroeder was born in Waterloo township, Allamakee county, Iowa, Oct 1, 1896, and departed this life March 16, 1922 aged 25 years, 5 months and 15 dys.

She was confirmed in the Methodist church of Dorchester, Iowa, when a young woman and lived in the Christian faith, and died with the Christian hope.

She was united in marriage with Ralph Leppert Dec. 22, 1920. There was born to them one child, a lovely daughter who brought sunshine and hope for greater happiness into the home, but the little one was called away to the better land Jan. 15, 1922.

She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Schroeder, her husband, one sister, Mrs. James Leppert of Forest Mills, and two brothers, Henry and George of Dorchester.

Many sympathising friends gathered with the relatives, and many kindly deeds were done to soothe their sorrow, and on Monday, March 20, the funeral services were held at the home near Forest Mills, conducted by Rev. Van Nice, and the dear form was laid beside the little one in Smithfield Cemetery.
