Ralph L. McKee age 68, of Seattle, Washington died suddenly Saturday, September 27, 1986. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 2.

Ralph was born April 11, 1918 in Lansing, Iowa to John T. and Florence (Orrben) McKee. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lansing, Iowa. Ralph attended local schools, graduating from Lansing High School, and also attended Wisconsin Business College in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He worked as a farm hand until enlisting in the Navy May 28, 1941, where he served at Sandpoint Naval Air Station in Seattle, Guam, and the Philipines, receiving an honorable discharge June 3, 1946.

On January 9, 1943 he was united in marriage to Johanna Ebner of Lansing, Iowa in Seattle, Washington. From 1946 to 1952 he was employed at Marshall-Wells wholesale hardware as a sporting goods buyer. In 1952 he became a school bus salesman for Kenworth, later transferring to Carco division of Pacific Car and Foundry, retiring in April 1980, after 28 years of employment.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Francis "Dutch" McKee.

He is survived by his wife Johanna; a son Dennis McKee; a granddaughter Ashley; 3 brothers Arthur McKee of Lansing, Iowa, Everett McKee of Postville, Iowa, and Edwin McKee of Luana, Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. Lyle (Laila) Pape, also of Luana, Iowa.
