Linus Mullarkey,Mayville, Wisconsin, died of cancer Saturday, May 13, 1989 at his home.
He was born May 4, 1920 in Lansing, Iowa to Ben and Mary McNamara Mullarkey.
He married Joan Brannan, formerly of Harpers Ferry, Iowa. He was a World War II veteran and worked as a barber for over 40 years in Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Jerry of Rapid City, South Dakota and Tom of Mayville; two daughters, Maureen Frechette , Mayville and Eileen Braatz of Kenosha; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Frank of McGregor and Vince of Lansing; four sisters, Ann DeLong of Harpers Ferry, Elizabeth "Betty" Burg, Caledonia, MN, Mary Schellhammer of Milwaukee and Alice Luster of Lansing.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 17, 1989 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mayville, Wisconsin, with burial in the church cemetery.
