Funeral services for Mrs. Jerry (Joyce) Holien, 54. of Harpers Ferry were held April 20 at St.John's Lutheran Church in Waukon.
She died April 17 at St. Francis Medical Center, LaCrosse, Wis.
She was born July 1,1930 in Austin, Minn., the daughter of Carl and Leona (Berry) Heimer. She was a member of the St. John's ALCW. She was married to Jerry Holien on November 27, 1949 in Onawa.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Ann Friedberg of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Randy (Mary Jo) Henningsen of Marne, and Julie Ann Holien of Ames; a son Jerry Nordell Holien of Harpers Ferry; one granddaughter and four grandsons. Also surviving are a brother, Robert Heimer, of California, and a sister, Betty Kies of Winona, Minn.
The Rev. Glen Atchinson conducted the 10 a.m. services. Burial was in the Boscobel, Wis. cemetery.
Pallbearers were Glenn Knopf, Larry Moore, Gary Soper, Dick Johnson, Berl Downing, Frank Jones, Ed Lawrence and Donald Valley.
Martin funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
