Idamae "Mae" L. Leppert, 70, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1996, in Good Samaritan Center after a sudden illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, First Baptist Church, Waukon, by the Rev. Mike Sisson. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.
Survivors include her husband, Maynard; two sons, Gene of Bettendorf and Duane of Lansing; a daughter, Suzanne Harm of LaCrescent, Minn.; a brother, Kenneth Witt of LaCrescent, Minn.; and three sisters, Sharon Weymiller of New Albin, Diane Lesnik of Milwaukee and Sandy Bohach of Decorah.The Cedar Rapids Gazette, Death date 21 Aug. 1996

Idamae Leppert 1926-1996
Born Feb. 25, 1926 in LaCrosse, WI, Idamae "Mae" was the daughter of Edward and Gladys (Johnson) Witt. She attended LaCrosse schools.Sept. 16, 1944 she and Maynard Leppert were married at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in LaCrosse. They farmed near Lansing and in 1973 moved to Waukon.
Mae worked in the business office of Veterans Memorial Hospital for ten years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Waukon.
She died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1996 at the age of 70 at the Good Samaritan Center.
Surviving are her husband; three children and their spouses, Gene and Nancy Leppert of Bettendorf, Suzanne and Brian Harm of La Crescent, MN, and Duane and Joann Leppert of Lansing; a brother Kenneth (Marie) Witt of La Crescent; three sisters: Sharon (Edwin) Weymiller of New Albin, Diane Lesnik of Milwaukee, WI, and Sandy (Rodney) Bohach of Decorah; 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at First Baptist Church, Waukon. The Rev. Mike Sisson officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Martin Funeral Home.
Casket bearers were Marc, Michael and David harm, Chris, Shawn and Roger Leppert and Jim Howard.
Honorary bearers were Janeen Dewispelaere, Jenny, Stacie, Molly and Andrew Leppert.
