Conduct Final for Mrs. A. Hermeier
The death of Mrs. August Hermeier, 87, of Ludlow township occurred Saturday at Rochester, where she received care for six weeks, due to the infirmities of age.

She was a daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Frederick Stock, early settlers of Ludlow, where she was born May 24, 1865.

In 1890 as Mathilda Stock, she was married to August Hermeier and they settled on a farm in Ludlow. He died in 1909.

Surviving are three sons, Edward, Elmer and Fred and two daughters, Anna and Mrs. Carl Kugel (Esther) all of this vicinity.

There are twenty grandchildren. Also, living are two sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Fred Grotegut, Frankville; Mrs. Charles Pausch, Fred, Charles and Edward Stock, Waukon; and William Stock of Lexington, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 at Martin's funeral home and 2:00 o'clock at Zalmona church in Ludlow, conducted by Rev. Henry Johnson. Burial in the church cemetery with six grandchildren as pall bearers.
