Edward, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Reid, died at the family home in this city, at 2 a.m. Saturday.

Since suffering a sunstroke in Kansas City three years ago he has been in poor health and gradually failing.

The deceased was born in Waukon and was 42 years old. He is survived by his parents two brothers, Charles and Fred of San Diego, Calif.; William of Chicago and one sister, Mrs. Grace Johnson, of Decorah.

The funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, Rev. VanNice officiating, and burial in Oakland cemetery.
