Waukon, Ia., Sept. 29 - Miss Carrie Haelsom Liom, a life-long resident of Allamakee county, died Tuesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Michael Anderson, in Makee township.

She was born in Norway Sept. 11, 1853, and when but a child came with her parents to this country, settling east of Waukon. She resided on the home farm until the home farm until the death of her only brother and since then had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Anderson
