The body of Lewis Brayton, one of our old residents, who lived up near the fair grounds, was brought here from Columbus, O., last Friday, and interment in the Waukon cemetery, took place last Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Brayton had for years been afflicted with a cancer on the side of his face, and went to the Columbus Surgical Institute for treatment. The certificate accompanying the remains announced the cause of death to be La Grippe.
