Another of the pioneers passed away Tuesday. David Bue was one of the early setters, a man highly respected in the community. He succumbed to that dread disease, the great white plague. We are without particulars for an obituary.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 11, 1850 and died Jan. 23, 1912. He is buried in the Waterloo Ridge Cemetery in Dorchester, IA.
