The infant child of Mr. Nemeir, a citizen of the Fourth ward, died last Thursday.

Note: The correct surname is likely NIEMEIER. The 1880 Federal & 1885 Iowa State census enumerated Herman & Anna Niemeier in the 4th Ward, City of Lansing, and numerous children. There is a 4y gap between Michael and Mary which may be the child who died in 1875. The 1900 census Adaline / Anna was shown to have had 11 children, 10 living.
