Mrs. Thos. Roach*, an old and highly respected lady, died last Friday morning. She was one of the oldest of our pioneer settlers in Taylor township and had the respect and confidence of all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance.

Her remains were laid to rest in St. Joseph's cemetery after Requiem High Mass last Sunday. Her funeral was perhaps one of the largest ever seen at Paint Rock.

Mrs. Roach leaves beside a husband, a family of three sons and three daughters to mourn a wife's love and a mother's affection. The family have the sympathy of the community in this, their hour of sorrow.
