Mrs. Chas. J. Hale died at her home in Waukon Friday evening last. She was a model woman.

Note: Allamakee county marriage returns, record the marriage of Charles J. Hale to Olive May Colgrove on 7/6/1896, d/o Albert E. & Eliza J. (Spaulding) Colgrove. She is buried in Oakland (Main) cemetery. Dates: 8/16/1876-4/12/1901. Charles later remarried to Ann J. Smith.
