At the time of going to press last week we had not heard that Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Gaunitz of Lafayette had been called upon to mourn the loss of their eight weeks' old daughter.

The little flower was frail from its birth and the parents should not grieve at its being transplanted to fields Elysian.

Note: Death certificate & gravestone = Myrtle Ester Gaunitz (12/18/1906-1/28/1907), dtr of William Gaunitz and Anna Lydia Steiber. Burial is in Thompson Corner cemetery.
