MRS. JOHN ZEIMET
Lansing, Ia. Funeral services for Mrs. John Zeimet, 77, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception church, the Rev. H. C. Scharphoff officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane cemetery. Mrs. Zeimet died Monday afternoon after a long period of ill health.
Mrs. Zeimet is survived by three sons, John of Dubuque, Leo of Elgin, Ill., and George of Lansing; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Loretta) McClain of Los Angeles; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. A. White of Kansas City; and a brother, Joe Rice of Lansing. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by two sons, William and Lawrence, a brother, William Rice, and four half-brothers, George, John, Frank and Simon Rice.

As Helen Mary Rice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rice, she was born Nov. 15, 1870, in Lansing township. She was educated in the rural schools and was married Sept. 25, 1893, to John Zeimet. They farmed near Lansing until 1919, when they retired to town. Zeimet died in 1935.
Surviving are three sons, John, of Dubuque; Leo, of Elgin, Ill. and George, of Lansing; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Loretta) McClain, of Los Angeles; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. A. White, of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Joe Rice, of Lansing.
