This is not an obit. I have searched all resources available to me, but could not find an obit. or death certificate. The information I compiled while looking for George W. Elsey is perhaps the only 'obituary' possible to remember this man. PLEASE - if anyone has a published obituary or death certificate for him, please reply to this obituary.

1909 news article 'Lake City Graphic', 11/11/1909 (Calhoun co. IA):
Henry Elsey went to Independence Tuesday afternoon upon receiving a telegram from the hospital authorities there that George, a brother of the Elsey's here, was not expected to live.

George W. appears in the Harris Funeral Home records (Postville, Iowa), having died 11/13/1909; most likely at the State Hospital, Independence, IA. I believe he's buried in the Minert cemetery where his father & sister Susanna V. (Elsey) Glenn are buried. Any supporting proof of this would be appreciated.
