Waukon, Ia - (Special) -- Mrs. John Howes, 25, of Hanover townshio died at a La Crosse hospital Thursday after giving birth to a son who survives her.

She is also survived by a daughter Ann, age 3=three; her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lyons of French Creek; two sisters, Mrs. John Smerud, New Albin, and Betty at home; and three brothers, James Lyons, Waterloo, and Ralph and Frank at home.
