We regret to learn that diphtheria has again broken out in Center township, near Dalby. A.B. Peterson lost his daughter Emma, aged six years, Sunday, after an illness of thirty-six hours, and two more of his children have since been taken down.

Notes:
-- The 'Woodmansee' book includes an entry for Emma Amalie Pederson, 10/15/1890-06/01/1890, buried in OEPC cemetery. Another entry, also the d/o A.B. Pederson is Anga Martine Pederson, 06/30/1885-06/06/1895. Emma & Anga share a gravestone.

-- The sisters are living in the household of Andrew B. & Elisa B. Peterson on the 1895 IA State census, Taylor twp., Allamakee co. IA
