Many friends and relatives in this city were shocked to hear of the death of Andy Bresnahan, which took place at Park River, N.D., Tuesday of last week. Death was caused by typhoid fever.

Mr. Bresnahan and family resided in Waukon during the winter, removing his family from North Dakota last fall. He moved back again last spring with the above sad result.

He leaves a wife and three children, the former a daughter of Michael Kellaher, of this city.

The deceased was an honest, industrious young man. He was quiet and unassuming, and we are sure that all who knew him deplore his untimely demise. He was interred at Park River.
