Services Held For Minnie Sanderman

Minnie Louise Sanderman, 92, of Waukon, died Thursday, April 5 at Veterans Memorial hospital in Waukon.

She was born in Allamakee county Sept. 28, 1886 to Carl and Mary Moller Osterholz and she married Ed Sanderman June 24, 1908 in Allamakee county. He died in 1956.

She attended local schools, was a housewife and a member of Zion United Church of Christ and several church groups.

She is survived by two sons, Urban and Neil of Waukon, a daughter Mrs. LeRoy (Bernie) Hermanson of Huron, SD, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Ada Winke of Waukon.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters, John, Elmer, Lydia, Mary and a brother who died in infancy.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at Martin funeral home with the Rev. Henry Heinbuch officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Hesse, Dale Hesse, Ken Flage, Howard Snitker, Emmett Kruger and Frank Hager.
