F. A. Sanderman Is Taken Today
Pioneer Resident Passes Suddenly This Morning At Home In Waukon

Death came suddenly to F. A. Sanderman at his home on East Main street early Wednesday morning, following a few hours illness. He had not been in the best of health for the last several months, as a result of the flu, but his condition did not become serious until yesterday. He was 74 years old.

Frederick A. Sanderman was born March 3, 1865, in Ludlow township, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Sanderman. He received his education in the rural schools of the township. He lived on his farm in Ludlow township until 1933, when he retired and came to Waukon to make his home.

On December 16, 1925, he was united in marriage to Miss Lena Nagel. She died on May 29, 1933.

He is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Simon of Portland, Oregon, Otto and Ed of Waukon, Mrs. August Hesse of Union Prairie township and Mrs. John F. Flage of Ludlow township.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the Zion Reformed church of which he was a member. The Reverend F. E. Stucki will officiate, assisted by Reverend E. M. DeBuhr of Ludlow.

Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
