Miss Paula Lemme Dies This Morning
Death Follows Long Siege of Illness In Hospital At Keokuk

Waukon relatives and friends of Miss Paula Lemme were saddened today when word came of her death this morning in a hospital at Keokuk, where she had been a patient for the past five months. The remains will be brought to Waukon and the funeral will take place at Zion Reformed church, of which she was a devoted member.

Paula Lydia Lemme was born July 29, 1898 at Sherrill, Dubuque county, Iowa and was 34 years of age at the time of her death. For several years the family resided in Winnebago county where her father passed away in 1919. The following year Mrs. Lemme located in Waukon and deceased had since made her home here, except at such times when her practice of her profession as a registered nurse required her presence elsewhere temporarily.

Deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Lydia Lemme, and six sisters, and seven brothers, Ben, Amos and Mrs. Sarah Kiesau, all of Waukon; Paul and Theodore of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Ruth Worster of Keokuk; David and Mrs. Martha DeLap of Lexington, Neb.; Carl, Dan, Mrs. Esther Carlson, and Mrs. Alma McFarland of Forest City.

Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made except that they will be held from Zion Reformed church, conducted by Rev. Stucki, and burial will be in the family lot at Forest City.
