The death of Mrs. Julius Bauercamper occurred Sunday morning [16 Dec 1951] at the Waukon hospital where she received care the past week following a stroke, she having been in failing health for two years
.
Mary Krumme, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Krumme was born in Ludlow township March 16, 1872 and was 79 years old. Her entire life was spent in this vicinity.

Sept. 17, 1896, her marriage to Julius Bauercamper took place at the Krumme home. Seven years ago they gave up farm life and purchased residence property on Allamakee street which had since been the family home.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters and three sons, Mrs. Paul Kruger (Luella), Ludlow township, Arthur Bauercamper, at home, Mrs. Roy Steele (Laura) and Leslie Bauercamper, Waukon, and Ralph, Cresco and Mrs. Thomas Knutson (Florence), Makee township.

Also living are a sister, Mrs. Robert Kiesau, two brothers, Wm. Krumme, Waukon, and Henry of Monona. There are nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held this Tuesday afternoon, 1:30 at Martin’s funeral home, and 2:00 at Zalmona church in Ludlow conducted by Rev. Henry Johnson.

Burial in the church cemetery with the following pallbearers, Henry Kruger, Alvin Brandt, Ed Hehning, George Winke, August Snitker and Albert Stuckman.
