Mrs. John Rice, an aged lady of this place, died Wednesday night. She was in apparent good health at 9 o'clock. She was the widow of the late John Rice, and had resided in town for about a year, removing from the farm in this township. Frank Rice of Dixon, Ill., George of this place, and John of Makee township, are stepsons. She leaves also two sons and two daughters. They are William, Joseph, Mrs. J Zeimet and Lizzie. Deceased was a sister of the late John Rothermel.
