Dorothy L. Hines, 82, of Postville, Iowa (formerly of Louisville, KY) died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon, Iowa following a brief illness.

Dorothy Hines was born Dec. 23, 1922 in Louisville, KY. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery, Louisville, KY. There will be no Iowa services.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cary B. and Mary Ellen (Coleman) Hines, a sister, Sr. Ann Thomas, and brother-in-law Dan McNeil.

She is survived by two sisters, Catherine McNeil of Postville, Iowa and Geraldine Crow of Louisville, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews.
