At 2 o'clock on the morning of the 9th Mrs. Young, wife of Wm Young of Union City, breathed her last. the funeral took place at Mt. Hope the day following, Rev. Levi Green officiating. Mrs. Young was a good conscientious woman the mother of ten children all of which survive her. One son and a daughter live in Anamosa, this state, three boys and one girl are still at home and the others live in different parts of this county.
