VERMILLION, S.D.—funeral services were held Tuesday at the Wagner-Iverson Funeral Home for Sterling Leikvold, 45, who died Saturday at his home.
Mr. Leikvold was born March 1, 1926 at St. Paul, Minn. He married Shirley Harriman on Sept. 29, 1947 in South Sioux City, Iowa. He was a mechanic for many years. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include the widow: four daughters, Mrs. David Barnes and Debbie, both of San Jose, Calif., and Kathleen and Patricia , both of Vermillion; two sons, Jerry and Danny both of Vermillion, and his father Theodore Leikvold, Vermillion.
