Mrs. Israel Johnson. The remains of this well known former resident arrived from Milwaukee Saturday and were laid to rest beside her husband in Oak Hill cemetery next afternoon. Her daughter, Mrs. Schunk, with whom she had been living the past three months, and granddaughter, Mrs. Herst, also of Milwaukee accompanied the body here.

Prior to that for some years she had made her home in Seattle, Wash. Deceased died of some dropsical trouble and was aged about seventy-four years. She had intended to return here to live, having written to a friend to secure rooms for her.
