Mrs. Simon Kiesau, 90, mother of Dr. Kenneth Kiesau, died Thursday morning at Wilcox Hall following a short illness.

Born in Waukon, Allamakee County, Iowa, she had made her home there until 1961 when she came to Kingsport to live. She had been a resident of Wilcox Hall for the past five years.

She had been a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon, Iowa for most of her life.

In addition to her son, she is survived by two grandsons, Dr. Kyle Kiesau, U.S. Army, Fort Benning, Ga., and Keith Kiesau of Kingsport, and two great grandchildren.

Note: Her gravestone in Oakland cemetery, Waukon gives year of birth 1880. Her husband Simon Henry Kiesau died in 1936.
