Rites For M. Horras

RICHLAND - Services for Mrs. Richard J. Horras, 73, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church here.

Mrs. Horras died Saturday morning at Maplewood Manor in Keota where she had been a patient for the past month. She had been in failing health for two years.

Last rites will be conducted by the Rev. Glenn W. Fuegen. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Clear Creek. The Parish rosary will be held at 7:30 tonight at the Gould Funeral Home.

Margaret Horras was born March 10, 1903 near Richland. Her parents were Hugh and Katie Weber Reed. She was married to Richard J. Horras Oct. 1, 1924. They lived on the Reed family farm where Mrs. Horras was born until 1963 when they moved to their present home in Richland.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Robert L., Seneca, Ill., and Richard L., rural Richland; and three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Millane, rural Fairfield; Mrs. Margaret Hoekstra, Wilton; and Mrs. Carol Greene, Williamsport, Pa.

Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one brother, Walter Reed, Keota. She was preceded in death by twin sons and one grandson.
