Walter Muchow

Walter Muchow, 86, a native of Postville, died in Ft. Pierce, FL March 29. No funeral services were held. His inurnment will be at the Postville Cemetery. No date had been scheduled for that, it was said Saturday by the Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home in Ft. Pierce, which was in charge of arrangements there.

Muchow had been a supervising engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers. His survivors include 3 sons; Dale of Ft. Pierce, Keith of Forest City, IA and Lee of Bellflower, CA; one brother, 2 sisters, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was married to Caroline Sander, who died in 1945. His parents were John and Mamie Muchow.
