CLETUS TROENDLE
Cletus Troendle, 76, of Phoenix, Ariz., went to be with the Lord Monday, November 24, 2003. Memorial services will be held Friday, January 2, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Chavez Park in Phoenix.
Cletus was born November 10, 1927, in Lansing, Iowa, the son of William and Gertrude Troendle. He married Mary Lou Brooks on January 2, 1945, in Lansing. They lived in Lansing several years before moving to Lewiston, Mont., and in 1969, they moved to Phoenix. Cletus worked as a farmer, custodian, and mechanic. He was devoted to his family.
He leaves behind his wife of nearly 50 years, Mary Lou; seven children, Linda Clark of Virginia, Cletus Jr. of Washington, and Nancy, Judy, Darrell, Kevin, and David, all of Phoenix; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; his only sister, Marj Halverson of Lansing; sisters-in-law Carol Schaefer and Helen Dehli, both of Montana, and Doris Flesch, Ruth Reppe, and Barb Koch; one brother-in-law, Roger Brooks; mother-in-law Jeanette Brooks; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bill and Erwin.
Cletus will be greatly missed by all.
